FAQ's & Policies







Policies and Terms of Service

Reservations:  Please call or e-mail us to schedule your party 3 to 4 weeks in advance of your desired party date.  Once you have chosen a party date and time, we will hold your reservation for one week to give you time to complete the guest list, sign the party agreement, and return it to us with your deposit.  Your deposit will secure your reservation, and we will begin finalizing and mailing the custom invitations (custom invitations can be added to any package).

Deposit:
 A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to secure your party date. 

Forms of Payment:
We accept cash or checks made payable to Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc. or in care of the spa hostess.  The balance of the party is due the day of the party.  
 

Gratuity & Tipping:  15% Gratuity is automatically added to all invoices.
Minimum/Maximum attendance:
Our party packages are designed for a minimum of 8 guests (including the guest of honor), and a maximum of 12 guests (including the guest of honor).  Parties smaller than eight will be charged for the minimum of eight children.

RSVP Confirmation:
Please contact us at least four days prior to your
party to confirm your
final guest count
.  This will be the number we use to determine appropriate quantities for costumes, favors, crafts, and food (if applicable), and we will charge accordingly.

Attendance of guests:
Some guests may not show up to the party, even if they RSVP.  Please remember that we charge according to the final guest count that you provided prior to the party, not the number of children that show up.  

Siblings of guests:
Our party packages cover only the guest of honor and their guests.  Please include any siblings in the final guest count if you would like for them to participate in the party activities.

Late arrivals:
Please advise all guests that the party will begin promptly at the scheduled time.  All activities are carefully planned out, and any child arriving late may join the activities at the point that they have progressed.  This is necessary to ensure the least amount of disruption to the party, and your understanding is appreciated.

Discipline and non-participation:
 The Spa Hostess is responsible for the flow of the party and the party activities.  We kindly ask that you monitor disruptive behavior and attend to any child who does not want to participate.  This will help us to provide the best possible party experience for you and your child.

Guest attire:
Many of our parties include mask application and nail polish.  The children do not get undressed, and we asked that the girls come in comfortable attire.  Girls attending a princess spa party have the option of bringing along a pair of dress shoes to wear with their dress.

Food Allergies:
If you choose to hire Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc. to provide a catered menu for your event, it is the responsibility of the client to check with party guests for specific food allergies.  Should any of your guests have severe food allergies, we suggest that either you or the child’s parent provide an alternate menu for that child.

Adults at party:
We ask that the parent(s) of the birthday child please stay for the duration of the party to attend to possible needs of the
children.  The parents of guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the fun, but we ask that onlookers keep the noise level to a minimum so the children do not get distracted and can adequately hear instructions from the hostess.

Outdoor Parties: Due to the nature of spa parties we do not provide spa services outside.  Please make adjustments accordingly.

Inclement weather/illness:
In the case of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances/illness, Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc. reserves the right to reschedule your party.  If you choose to cancel the party due to severe weather or illness, please remember that your deposit is non-refundable.  We will gladly work with you to reschedule your party for an alternate date.  Please be advised, if new invitations, food or beverages are needed there will be an additional charge.

Cancellations and rescheduling:
 Once your party is booked and the
deposit is paid, the party can only be postponed one time. Based on
availability, we will gladly work with you to reserve an alternate date for your party.  If you decide to cancel your party for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable.  Please remember, there will be an additional charge if you wish to re-send invitations to your guests.

Travel fee:
A set fee of $10.00 will be charged for any travel from 25 to 40 miles from Davie, FL. For every mile traveled over 40 miles, an
additional $.75 per mile will be added to the final balance of the party.  Travel rates will increase to $1.25 per mile traveled over 60 miles.  Please remember while calculating a travel fee, mileage will be counted coming to and going from the party.  Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc. reserves the right to refuse to travel to locations further than Palm Beach County.

Parking:
 Please allow ample space in your driveway or in front of your home for us to park, as we will have heavy items to carry into your home.  In case of rain, entrance through a covered garage would be greatly appreciated!

Liability:
  Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc, its owners and employees assume no responsibility or liability for accidents, allergies relating to food items, clothing, or make-up, injuries to party guests, or property damage.  As professional event planners, we can assure you we will provide a safe and entertaining environment for your guests, and will treat your home like a “royal palace”.

Damage:
 We understand that accidents can happen, however, the client may be held responsible for excessive damage sustained to costumes and property of Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc.

Other Considerations:  For purposes of maintaining the highest quality of our costumes, we kindly ask that any food and beverages that will be served to the children while in costume be approved beforehand.  

Beverages should be light colored or clear (no cola products or fruit punch) and please, no food items containing tomatoes, tomato sauce or dark colored jellies.  We reserve the right to refuse certain food items that may damage our costumes.  Please let us know beforehand what food items you would like to serve.  Although we understand accidents may happen, the client may be held responsible for excessive damage to Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc. property.

Client Obligations:
  • If selecting one of our table services, provide enough space for the tables and chairs we will bring.
  • Provide safe, clean areas for other activities: craft area, make-up and dressing area, and an area for games and/or ceremonies/fashion show.
  • Provide a gathering place for parents of the guests if you want them to stay.
  • Provide a smoke free environment.
  • Please remain with the party at all times.

Kidz-Friendly Facialz, Inc. has provided this account of our policies and terms of service with the assumption that you have read and agree to our policies before signing the Party Agreement.  Please ask for clarification if there are any questions regarding the above policies before reserving your party.
